In court, Judge Eric Goodman discussed Blakely’s extradition to Pahrump. Blakely spoke with a lawyer before being called by the judge.

As previously reported, he was arrested in connection with a shooting that left 22-year-old Joseph Perry dead.

The other suspect involved in the shooting, Anthony Aguilar, 18, appeared in court in Nye County Wednesday morning. The judge denied his bail, keeping him behind bars.

Aguilar is expected to return to Pahrump Justice Court next week.
