LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Despite observations of potentially longer-than-normal TSA lines, Harry Reid International Airport actually experienced a decrease in passenger traffic during the month of September, according to airport officials.
Airport officials reported that 4.4 million people traveled through Harry Reid Airport this past September. This marks a notable drop compared to September of last year, when 4.75 million passengers were recorded. This represents a 6.4 percent decrease in passenger volume year-over-year.
Even with this dip in passenger numbers, Harry Reid International Airport continues to maintain its status as one of the busiest airports in the nation.
