Pedestrian dies days after hit-and-run on Boulder Highway in Henderson

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A pedestrian has died days after being injured in a hit-and-run on Boulder Highway in Henderson.

On April 8 at 8:18 p.m., Henderson police responded to reports of a crash involving a pedestrian on Boulder Highway and Foster Avenue. An initial investigation found that a Honda Accord failed to yield for a pedestrian in a crosswalk and struck them.

The Accord then fled the area.

The pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital.

On April 11, police were notified that the pedestrian had died from their injuries.

Investigators say speed was not considered a factor in the crash, and impairment is unknown. The Accord driver also remains unidentified.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
