LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas police are on scene of a crash in the northeast valley Thursday evening.

According to Metro’s traffic page, the crash happened just after 5 p.m. at Cheyenne Avenue and Lamb Boulevard. Police said a pedestrian ran in front of a car traveling westbound. The vehicle then hit the person.

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver remained on scene and impairment is not suspected, police told FOX5.

A traffic camera shows Cheyenne closed in both directions.
