LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metro Police are investigating a crash involving a bus that critically injured a pedestrian.
According to LVMPD, around 3 p.m., the collision occurred near East Katie Avenue and South Maryland Parkway. Police report the pedestrian was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
The bus driver remained on scene, where officers determined impairment is not suspected at this time.
Part of the intersection is blocked off as police investigate the crash.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
