Pedestrian killed after being hit by multiple cars in east Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A pedestrian was hit and killed Saturday night in a hit-and-run crash that involved multiple cars in the northeast valley.

According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, it happened just before 7:45 p.m. on North Nellis Boulevard north of East Monroe Avenue.

Police say a light-colored sedan was driving northbound on Nellis when a pedestrian was crossing outside of a marked crosswalk and was hit. The car stopped briefly, then drove off.

Metro also reported a second vehicle then ran over the pedestrian. That driver pulled into a nearby business, and two people got out, walked to the scene, then left.

The pedestrian was later pronounced dead at the scene.
