LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A man was killed after walking outside a marked crosswalk near Sunset Park Sunday night.
Police say it happened just before 9 p.m. on Pecos Road near Maule Avenue.
A Nissan Versa was traveling northbound on Pecos Road, south of east Maule Avenue when it struck the pedestrian entering the Nissan’s path and was struck.
The driver remained on scene but did have signs of impairments. He was booked for DUI related charges.
This is the 46th death on roadways in Metro’s jurisdiction for 2024.
