Pedestrian taken to hospital after west Las Vegas crash, police say

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A pedestrian was taken to the hospital after a west Las Vegas crash Monday night, police said.

According to officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the crash happened just before 10 p.m. at South Buffalo Drive and West Viking Road. Police said it involves a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Police say the pedestrian was transported to the hospital. Police did not immediately share their condition. The driver stayed at the scene and impairment is not suspected.

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada says all lanes are blocked in both directions at the intersection.
