Pedestrian with critical injuries after northeast Las Vegas crash, police say

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A pedestrian was critically injured after a northeast Las Vegas crash Wednesday night.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the crash happened just after 10:30 p.m. at Craig Road and Puebla Street, near Lamb Boulevard.

Police said a Henderson man, 52, drove a Nissan Pickup truck westbound on Craig Road. At the same time, a pedestrian, believed to be between 30 and 40 years old, started to cross Craig outside of a marked crosswalk. Police say the crash happened when the pedestrian crossed the truck’s lane.

Metro Police say the driver remained at the scene and did not show signs of impairment. Medical arrived and transported the pedestrian to UMC Trauma, where he remains in critical condition.

The crash remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metro Police’s Collision Investigation Section.
