Pedestrian with life-threatening injuries after hit-and-run, Las Vegas police say

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A pedestrian has life-threatening injuries after a crash west of I-15 Wednesday afternoon, police say.

Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the crash happened just after 1:30 p.m. and involved three vehicles and a pedestrian. It happened near South Valley View Boulevard and Sirius Avenue.

Police said the suspect vehicles hit two vehicles and then drove over the sidewalk, hitting a pedestrian. The victim was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police are searching for the suspect vehicle. No immediate details were provided on the occupants of the other cars.

“Please avoid the area,” police said. “This is an ongoing investigation.”
