LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Police say a person was shot and transported to the hospital Friday afternoon.
Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting happened at the area of 2651 W. Ali Baba Lane, near Valley View Boulevard and Hacienda Avenue.
Police said officers at the scene found the victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was transported to the hospital with injuries deemed not life-threatening. LVMPD detectives are taking over the investigation and say there is no known suspect.
Police said the area will be shut down for the next few hours.
