LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A pitbull put up for adoption twice was found in bad shape near a homeless camp last week.

Cole, the pitbull, was found in a gutter near Bonanza Road and H Street on Friday.

Vegas Pet Rescue Project rescued the suffering animal, according to a social media post. They say he was in bad condition but still alive.

Cole was first adopted in 2020 and was returned and re-adopted in 2021.

The non-profit rescue is now working to help Cole recover and find him a new forever home.
