LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Police activity closed an intersection in central Las Vegas Tuesday, Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada officials said.
Just after 2 p.m., traffic in the area began opening up after the police activity had blocked all lanes on Martin Luther King Boulevard and Bonanza Road.
Police officials said the closure stemmed from a petit larceny in which a suspect might have had a firearm. Officers located a vehicle, but the driver refused to exit. After approximately 30 minutes, a suspect was taken into custody without incident.
The lanes were reopened shortly after 2:15 p.m.
