LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metro police identify the vehicle involved in a deadly pedestrian hit and run.

The incident occured on March. 29 just before 8 p.m. in the area of McLeod Drive at Pecos. A vehicle hit a pedestrian and fled the scene.

Police report a van towing a trailer was captured on surveillance following the collision.

According to LVMPD a pedestrian on a mobility device was crossing the street when the driver failed to yield the right of way.

The pedestrian was later identified as 64-year-old Glenn Abbott.

Abbott was reportedly ejected across the intersection. He was then taken to the hospital where he later died.

Las Vegas police report the death marks the 41st traffic related fatality in 2025 so far.
