LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Police activity is blocking a northwest valley intersection Thursday morning.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says they are investigating a suspicious item in the 4300 block of North Rancho Drive.
Out of precaution, LVMPD says they have closed down a nearby intersection while an investigation is ongoing.
According to RTC of Southern Nevada, all north and southbound lanes on Rancho Drive between Craig Road and Landon Ridge Avenue are temporarily closed.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area or expect delays.
