LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection to Tuesday’s deadly stabbing.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to reports of stabbing in the 6800 block of East Lake Mead Boulevard and located a man suffering from stab wounds.
The man was transported to UMC Hospital, where he later died.
An initial investigation found that the suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim, before fleeing the area on foot.
In an update shared Thursday, police identified 33-year-old Jose Escamilla as the suspect, and took him into custody Wednesday.
He is currently booked into Clark County Detention Center and is facing an open murder charge.
