LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Several individuals that were involved in a Virginia City incident over the weekend were served arrest warrants and detained at a Nevada jail.

FOX5 received a statement from Storey County. Officials said Gary Miller, Janis Miller and Tiffany Miller have been arrested.

Nevada Attorney General Aaron D. Ford said public outcries following the video were heard.

“Steps have been taken to hold these individuals accountable for their racist and unlawful actions,” he said.

Ford commends the sheriff and his deputies for their responsiveness.

“Unfortunately, my office has also received reports of threats of violence directed towards Storey County community members and law enforcement,” Ford said. “While I understand heightened emotions regarding this situation, cooler heads must prevail. I do not condone threats of violence of any kind.”

Governor Joe Lombardo also expressed concern over the video.

According to the Storey County Sheriff’s Office, Gary Miller is charged with violation of breach of peace. Janis Miller faces battery. Tiffany Miller faces charges for obstruction and delaying a peace officer.

The video was taken on Aug. 2. Since then, Hot August Nights revoked their registrations.
