LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police have shut down roads near an intersection in the south valley Friday afternoon.
Police tell FOX5, they are investigating a ”suspicious item” near the intersection of Silverado Ranch Boulevard and Maryland Parkway just after 2 p.m.
Metro says officers are taking precautionary measures to protect the general public.
Police closed roads near the intersection. Avoid the area if possible.
No other details were provided at this time.
