LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) -The Henderson Police Department said they’ve received a number of possible sightings in connection to a missing and endangered teenager out of Henderson.
17-year-old Jennaleah Reyes Hin was reported missing on Monday evening after she walked away from her home following a family dispute, according to Henderson Police.
On Friday, a multi-agency search was underway in the desert area near Horizon Ridge Parkway and Paradise Hills Drive.
Red Rock Search and Rescue Commander Mark Speer said the search in the area began Thursday at noon after Hin was captured on neighborhood cameras walking toward the desert. A dog picked up her scent over a ridge south of a nearby housing development.
Friday afternoon, Henderson Police Lt. Jim Dunlap said they’ve received a number of possible sightings of Hin, and that detectives are following up on every lead that comes in.
He said they’re also analyzing video from neighborhood cameras to determine if Hin was ever captured exiting the desert.
Speer and Dunlap are encouraging the community to keep the tips coming.
Both agencies say they will continue to search in the desert through the weekend.
