LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Two people have been arrested following a police chase in Boulder City Tuesday night.

The Boulder City Police Department assisted the Arizona Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol to stop a reported stolen motorhome. Boulder City Police received updates from the National Park Service and AZDPS about the location of the vehicle.

Rangers with the National Park Service said they tried to deploy spike strips to stop the driver multiple times, but they were unsuccessful and the motorhome made its way to Boulder City.

During the pursuit, police said a female suspect jumped from the motorhome while it was in motion and was taken into custody. She was also booked into the Henderson Detention Center for an outstanding felony warrant.

Police said the driver, later identified as 35-year-old Joshua Bailey, abandoned the motorhome near US 93 and Canyon Road.

He fled on a bicycle into residential neighborhoods until an airship located Bailey and was apprehended by Boulder City police in the 800 block of Shirley Lane.

The suspect and a BCPD officer were transported to a hospital for treatment of “minor” injuries.

“Our Officer was treated and released and is at home recovering from his injuries,” Boulder City police said.

Bailey was transported to the Clark County Detention Center and booked on the charges of possession of stolen vehicle, conspiracy to elude evade a peace officer, two counts of reckless driving , driving with a suspended license, and failure to stop and give information at the scene of a crash.

Additionally, he was booked on numerous felony charges by the Henderson Police Department for crimes he had previously committed in the city. Police said he awaits further charges from the Arizona Department of Public Safety for the crimes he is suspected of committing in Arizona.
