LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A suspect arrested in Utah is reportedly connected to the double south Las Vegas valley murder.
On March 2, around 9 p.m., officers were conducting a traffic stop when they heard shots fired in the area, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The shooting occurred near Star Avenue and Dean Martin Drive, police said.
FOX5 spoke to neighbors and family members who said a woman and a toddler were in the car. The Clark County Coroner’s office identified Danaijha Robinson, 20, as the woman shot and killed in the car.

Officials with Utah police say LVMPD is working with the agency on the ongoing investigation.
