LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing 63-year-old Golden Valley woman Thursday morning.

According to detectives, Cynthia Marie McCoy was last seen in the early morning hours of August 20. She was reported missing on August 22.

Initial reports state that McCoy and a friend were seen entering a business in the 2700 block of Highway 66 and had gotten a flat tire while driving home. A white truck driven by an unidentified man approached the woman and offered help.

McCoy left with the man and went back to the business to search for a spare tire. 30 minutes later, McCoy returned to the friend’s vehicle but later left with the man again.

Police note that this was the last time McCoy was seen.

The man’s truck is believed to be a 2000-2005 Ford F-150 king-cab truck. Additionally, the attached camper shell appears to not belong to this model of truck and the driver-side rear tire is missing the center dust cover of the rim.

The truck was last observed at the business between 7:40 and 7:45 a.m., headed toward Highway 66 from the parking lot in an unknown direction.

The male driver is described as an older man with long gray hair and a long gray beard, wearing a light blue t-shirt.

McCoy is described as a 5-foot-tall white female, with short black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue spaghetti-strap tank top and carrying a black purse with a “Route 66″ logo on the side.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cynthia McCoy or the identity of the male subject is encouraged to contact our Detective Division at 928-753-0753 or 1-800-522-4312 and reference DR# 24-031983.
