LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating a crash involving a school bus in the southwest valley Monday morning.
Las Vegas Metro police responded to the crash around 6:07 a.m. at Eldora Avenue and Lindell Road. An initial investigation found that a white sedan ran a stop sign and collided with the bus, forcing it onto the front lawn of a nearby residence.
Police suspect the sedan’s driver of impairment.
The bus driver reported minor injuries, including a possible broken leg. Six children were also aboard the bus during the crash, but are only reporting bumps and bruises, according to police.
The children have since been picked up by their parents.
LVMPD and Clark County School District Police Department are currently at the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
