LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Power has been restored to the main gas pipeline to Southern Nevada after officials shut it off due to the ongoing wildfires.
In a statement Thursday, Kinder Morgan shared that the pipelines had been shut down since 10:15 a.m. Clark County added that service would be restored within 12 to 24 hours.
On Friday, Kinder Morgan confirmed to FOX5 that service was restored at 8 a.m.
During the closure, Clark County officials and Las Vegas Metro police urged consumers to fuel up but avoid unnecessary panic.
If you see any form of price gouging at the pump, you are encouraged to report it to the Nevada Attorney General’s Office.
