LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Nevada SPCA said dogs that were abandoned in the Mojave Desert are available for adoption.

FOX5 first reported about the dogs last week. Officials said the dogs were living in the desert for a couple weeks without food and water. A Good Samaritan notified Paws Patrol when they were spotted at a gas station off the I-15.

The Nevada SPCA says the dogs have been vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped.

They will be available for adoption Thursday. Officials say Nevada SPCA is a walk-in shelter and adoptions are based on first-come, first-served basis.
