LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – On the opening evening of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders used their first-round selection to supplement their offense.

With the 13th pick, the Raiders selected tight end Brock Bowers from Georgia. He was a two-time winner of the Mackey Award as college football’s best tight end.

Last season he led the Bulldogs with 56 receptions, 714 receiving yards, and six receiving touchdowns.

For the first time in NFL history, the draft began with 13 straight offensive selections, including six quarterbacks.
