LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – An Atlanta rapper will not face charges for bringing a firearm to a Las Vegas Strip casino.

Court records show that the Clark County district attorney will not pursue charges against Lil Baby, who’s real name is Dominique Jones.

Late August, FOX5 learned that Jones was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon without at permit at Wynn Las Vegas.

According to an arrest report, he was staying at the MGM Grand at the time of his arrest.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department found Jones carrying a tan Glock with one magazine and 17 9mm rounds. Casino security caught Jones through video surveillance.

Jones explained to police that he has a permit in Georgia. However, it’s not authored in Nevada, according to LVMPD.

Jones told police he had the firearm on him previously at a nightclub, and he forgot he had it on him.

He was due in court on Oct. 1 for a status check when the charges dropped.
