LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The 911 calls from the night a man was shot and killed by Las Vegas police reveal a chaotic environment and the homeowner describing a home intruder in detail to police.

Brandon Durham was shot and killed by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police on Nov. 12 after Durham called around midnight to report a home invasion.

Officers approached the residence, heard a loud noise, and entered the home. Inside, officers said they saw two individuals in a struggle over a knife. That’s when Officer Alexander Bookman fired six rounds at Durham.

Durham was in his underwear in a struggle with the reported intruder, later identified as Alejandra Boudreaux, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt. In 911 calls, Durham described the suspect as wearing a red hoodie.

LVMPD said only three seconds passed between the first and last rounds fired.

Following the release of the body camera footage, Durham’s family and their attorneys called for Bookman’s arrest. Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson said his office is still investigating the case.
