HENDERSON, Nev. (FOX5) – More than a year after a days-long barricade nearly demolished a Henderson townhome, repairs on the property have finally begun.

The impacted part of the home is now covered with plywood with no damage showing.

On the anniversary of the incident, FOX5 checked on the status of repairs. The damage caused by the April 12, 2024 barricade was still clear to see.

The Henderson Police Department’s Criminal Apprehension Team caused it when they used a bearcat to break down the garage door to get inside the townhouse.

The city originally said the homeowner’s association would be responsible, but later reversed course and agreed to pay for the repairs.
