LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Circus Circus could be sold soon.
Owner Phil Ruffin told Forbes that there’s interest from buyers to sell the Las Vegas Strip property. He said the hotel and casino is worth $5 billion.
MGM sold Circus Circus to Ruffin in 2019. The sale was worth $825 million that year.
He also owns Treasure Island Hotel and Casino.
Circus Circus is known for its family-friendly atmosphere with the Adventuredome, The Midway and live circus acts.
He told Forbes he plans to buy another property on the Strip with the Circus Circus sale.
Ruffin says the property is valuable for the land. The hotel and casino sits on 102 acres is close to Sahara Avenue and I-15.
