LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metro police have arrested two brothers accused of a deadly shooting in the west valley.
According to LVMPD, on Feb. 9, police responded to reports of two people in the Secret Lounge and Restaurant’s parking lot with gunshot wounds.
78 year-old Kaleo Kekahuna was found lying on the floor gunshot wounds. The second victim was shot in the thigh.
The two victims were taken to the hospital. Police say Kekahuna later died.
The arrest report revealed 9 cartridge casings were found at the scene. Police learned the two victims were involved in a verbal altercation inside the business before the shooting occurred in the parking lot.
The report says 15 people made a reservation at the restaurant. Surveillance video showed the suspect, later identified as Anjele McCullough, enter.
Officials say the he began an arguing with the large group at their table.
At some point, the group went outside where the argument continued which led to the shooting.
Anjele is facing open murder charges.
Anjele’s brother, Terrance McCullough, was arrested by LVMPD in connection to the shooting. Although Terrance was accused of being seen at the crime, police did not have enough evidence and released him.
The arrest report says detectives obtained new video on Feb. 11 where Terrance and Anjele are both seen shooting the two victims.
LVMPD Criminal Apprehension Team located Terrance and arrested him.
The brothers are set to appear in court on April. 8. They both face multiple felony charges.
