LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — An arrest report detailed the events that led to one of eight arrests made in a Las Vegas Valley child sex sting operation.
According to the report, an online covert employee used software to record activity on apps including TikTok, Sessions and, in the case involving Neal Creecy, Sniffles, to identify people involved in the sexual exploitation of minors.
The report outlined communication between the covert employee, who was posing as a 14-year-old boy, and the person later identified as Creecy. The messages “turned sexual in nature,” and Creecy later agreed to meet the covert employee for sexual activity.
On Aug. 7, Creecy was taken into custody without incident. Officers confirmed that the tablet computer he had with him was the same one used to communicate with the covert employee.
According to the report, Creecy said he understood that he had agreed to meet up with a 14-year-old boy and admitted to communicating with the covert employee, telling officers, “I’m so sorry.”
Creecy faces one count of luring a child with a computer for a sex act.
