LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – New numbers from the Nevada Gaming Control Board show a year-over-year increase in state gaming revenue for September.
According to the report, non-restricted gaming licensees reported a total revenue of $1,312,902,449 in September 2024. When compared to the same time last year, the state saw a 3.34% increase in revenue.
Overall, however, the current fiscal year saw a 2.59% decrease in revenue last month.
In Southern Nevada, Downtown Las Vegas would see a huge year-over-year increase in revenue at 33%, beating out the Strip, which saw a nearly 2% decrease.
Also notable is the Boulder Strip, which saw a 19% increase.
Up north, Reno also reported strong numbers with a 12% increase in gaming revenue. Both North and South Lake Tahoe would also report 14.80% and 18.84% decreases, respectively.
On top of all these wins, the state would collect $99,428.847 in fees from September’s wins. When compared to last year, the fees increased by 32.37%.
