LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A Henderson Police Department arrest report has revealed the motivation behind a suspect’s vandalism of a city park by driving on the grass in his Tesla.

After his arrest on Tuesday, Krit Chorazy told police he was “trying to make friends and pick up chicks.”

Henderson police were dispatched to Mission Hills Park in reference to a gray Tesla doing donuts in a grassy area of the park.

Police were dispatched at approximately 9:08 p.m. yesterday in reference to a reckless driver. Initial callers explained that a gray Tesla and another vehicle were doing donuts in a grass field. Police found tire marks in the grass consistent with the report and located the suspect in his Tesla was grass and dirt on the tires.

In addition to multiple witness reports, surveillance video footage also captured the vandalism, according to police. Damage is estimated to be between $250 and $5,000.

A Henderson judge has ordered the suspect to stay away from Mission Hills Park and to not use or possess alcohol or marijuana as a condition of his release. He is facing charges including reckless driving, destruction of property and possession of marijuana.

Chorazy has an appearance in Henderson Justice Court scheduled for June 10.
