LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Strip is having a great start to 2025, according to a new report from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
Gaming revenue along the Strip is up 22% for January, totaling $686,064,743, nearly double the increase seen state-wide of $12.5% at $1,439,329,029.
Clark County as a whole also saw a higher increase in revenue than the state at 13%. The southern part of the state saw very minimal gaming losses in January overall, with the lowest coming in from the Boulder Strip with a 6% decrease in revenue.
Up north, Washoe County saw a 2% increase while Elko County saw a nearly 13% increase in revenue. North Lake Tahoe saw the largest losses in the area at an 11% decrease.
The state collected $108,687,470 in percentage fees for February, based on taxable revenue generated in January, marking an 8% increase from last year.
