LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A man failed sobriety tests after a fatal Las Vegas crash, an arrest report revealed.
FOX5 Las Vegas obtained the arrest report for Gerardo Lopez, 38. He is accused of DUI resulting in death.
Las Vegas police said the crash happened at University Center and Twain last Wednesday morning. The pedestrian was identified as 32-year-old Jessica Fodge through family and friends.

The arrest report says Las Vegas police were in the area and observed a driver run a red light. A pedestrian on a nearby sidewalk was hit.
Officers rendered aid to Fodge until medical arrived and transported her to Sunrise Trauma.
Fodge died at the hospital. She leaves behind four children.
Officers at the scene located Lopez in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. He also had a passenger who was the registered owner.
Police said he failed the sobriety tests at the scene of the crash.
According to the arrest report, he had bloodshot and water eyes. He was also speaking slowly. He did not admit to narcotics or using alcohol but said he takes medication. He forgot the prescription and dosage.
Lopez was placed under arrest for DUI and transported to UMC.
