LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — According to a social media post, the RISE Festival will be changing its schedule due to high winds in the area.

They noted the following changes:

  • The 7 p.m. sky lantern schedule will be canceled
  • The performance schedule was adjusted as follows:
    • 5 p.m.: Doors open
    • 6:30 p.m.: Coco & Breezy
    • 7:30 p.m.: Emmit Fenn
    • 8:30 p.m.: LP Giobbi
    • 10 p.m.: Ben Böhmer
    • 11:30 p.m.: Rüfüs Du Sol
  • The first performance at The Compass Stage will be canceled
  • Entry gates will be open at 5 p.m. and remain open until 8 p.m.
  • Motorcoaches will be available from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. from the scheduled departure locations

The promoters advised festivalgoers to dress for high winds, dusty conditions and variable temperatures, adding that all other performances are expected to continue as winds are forecast to ease.
