
LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A roof fire on a Las Vegas hotel was quickly knocked down by Clark County firefighters, officials say.
The Clark County Fire Department responded to calls of a fire at 2535 S. Las Vegas Boulevard on the low-rise roof of the Sahara Hotel Tuesday afternoon.
Crews first started to arrive at 5:09 p.m. Officials say smoke was showing from the second-story roof. A fire was contained to construction debris and was quickly knocked down, according to CCFD.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue also assisted, CCFD says. A total of 48 personnel responded.
CCFD said there were no reported civilian or firefighter injuries. The cause of fire is under investigation.
