WASHINGTON D.C. (KOLO) – Nevada U.S. Sen.Jacky Rosen is helping introduce a bill that would prevent Hamas members and supporters from entering the U.S.
She and Tennessee Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn introduced the No Immigration Benefits for Hamas Terrorists Act, which would prevent any person any person who participated in the October 7 attacks against Israel from entering the U.S.
The bill would apply to anyone who helped plan, finance, or in any way supported the attacks, and prevent them from being eligible for immigration benefits.
“No one who participated in Hamas’s brutal October 7 terrorist attack should be allowed to enter the United States,” said Rosen. “That’s why I’m helping introduce bipartisan legislation to prohibit Hamas terrorists from being eligible to receive immigration benefits. I’ll always work across the aisle to keep our nation safe.”
