LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Round Rock Express defeated the Las Vegas Aviators, 9-6, in the finale of the six-game homestand before the ninth sellout crowd of the season of 9,522 (Kids Night Out) at Las Vegas Ballpark. It also marked the 90th all-time sellout in LV Ballpark history.

Round Rock improved to 29-33 in the second half and 66-70 overall. Las Vegas dropped to 31-31 and 68-69. Las Vegas was 4-2 on the homestand.

The Express had six players record multiple-hit games: Second baseman Matt Duffy was 3-for-3, two walks, RBI, run scored. Left fielder Trevor Hauver was 3-for-5, double, walk, 2 RBI, run scored; shortstop Jax Biggers was 3-fo-5, double, walk, run scored and first baseman Blaine Crim was 2-for-6, double, 2 RBI, two runs scored.

Las Vegas first baseman/catcher Yohel Pozo was 3-for-4, three doubles, HBP, run scored. Designated hitter Tyler Soderstrom (ML rehab) was 2-for-3, two walks, HR, 3 RBI.

Round Rock left-hander Robby Ahlstrom pitched 1.2 innings as the opener. He allowed 3 hits, 2 runs, walked 2 and struck out 1.

Las Vegas right-hander Austin Pruitt pitched 2.2 innings as the opener. He allowed 3 hits, 1 run, walked 2 and struck out 2.

The PCL will have a scheduled off day on Monday, September 9. Las Vegas will then embark on its final road trip of the regular season to Albuquerque, New Mexico to face the Isotopes, Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, in a six-game series from Tuesday-Sunday, September 10-15.
