LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Salvation Army of Southern Nevada has been assisting on the front lines in a unique way.
They have organized a team to provide meals and other disaster services to people in five shelters in Southern California including the Pasadena Civic Auditorium the largest in operation right now.
The organization is also asking for donations to help people in those emergency shelters.
The Salvation Army Southern California has 13 emergency vehicles ready for deployment upon government partner request, including 6 mobile kitchens, 5 transit vans, and 2 shower trailers.
