LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A search is underway for a Las Vegas veterinarian at Lake Mead, sources confirm to FOX5.
The National Park Service says they are working with Las Vegas Metro Police and Red Rock Search and Rescue. Sources told FOX5 the person missing is Dr. Shawn D. Frehner.
FOX5 is working to understand the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
NPS says the multi-agency effort involves aerial, marine and ground resources.
“The National Park Service is the lead agency in this investigation,” officials said. “No further information is available at this time.”
The park says it will provide an update on the search as it progresses.
