LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A non-profit is taking action to help seniors who have gone one month without working A/C, resulting in the temperature inside their home to reach nearly 100 degrees.
Helping Hands of Vegas Valley worked with We Care Air to fix the seniors’ A/C within one day of hearing about their situation, for no cost.
Helping Hands officials say they want to help others in the same situation. Anyone over the age of 60, who owns a home and lives in that home full time can qualify for help.
