LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a shooting Wednesday evening near Maryland Parkway and Desert Inn Road.
Metro police say the shooting has left one man dead.
Police say officers responded to calls for a shooting around 9:30 p.m.
They found one man shot and then he was taken to the hospital, where he died.
Police say a person of interest has been detained.
Metro says they do not believe there are any other suspects.
The incident is under investigation.
