LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a shooting in the Spring Valley area of Las Vegas.
Metro says several people heard a number of gunshots in the area of Tropicana Avenue and Jones Boulevard around 6:09 p.m. on Wednesday.
LVMPD located one person who was shot in the leg. The victim was then taken to the hospital and is listed as having non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Police say several streets in the area of Tropicana and Jones are being blocked off while they investigate this crime.
