LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – If you plan to cast your ballot in November, you’ll want to make sure election officials have the right signature on file.
The Clark County Election Department is sending mailers to all active voters, and they’ll be in mailboxes in the very near future.
All you have to do is sign in the red box, seal it up, and mail it back — no postage required.
State law requires a signature verification at the ballot box — having one already on file makes the process faster and easier for everyone.
The process is completely optional — however, if you do opt to have your signature on file, the mailer needs to go back to the Election Department no later than Sept. 12.
