LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Nevada State Police responded to a small plane emergency landing near Mt. Charleston on Saturday.
According to troopers, the small passenger plane landed around 11:21 a.m. on Kyle Canyon Road, near the recreational area of Mt. Charleston.
The four-seat Cessna 172 passenger plane was piloted by two people. Neither were injured, and there was no damage to the roadway.
The FAA allowed the pilots to take off from the area after repairs were made, though the exact time of takeoff is unknown.
Kyle Canyon Road was briefly closed for 15 minutes but has since reopened.
