LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Southern Nevada Health District is offering affordable, regionally grown produce to the community through pop-up stands in Downtown Las Vegas.

According to a news release from SNHD, the produce stands are meant to provide accessible healthy foods to the community, as many continue to feel the impacts of high food costs and changes to SNAP benefits.

The stands will be open at the Bonneville Transit Center on 101 E. Bonneville Avenue, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or while supplies last. They will be available on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, Nov. 18
  • Tuesday, Dec. 2
  • Tuesday, Dec. 9

Shoppers can pay for their produce using cash, debit or credit cards, or SNAP/EBT. Shoppers will also receive healthy recipe cards, nutrition education, and other health resources.
