LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – FOX5 obtained 911 calls reporting a southwest Las Vegas fire that killed four and sent a mother and child to the hospital.

48-year-old Ibrahim Adem, 43-year-old Abdusalem Adem, 7-year-old Anaya Adem and 6-year-old Aaliyah Adem were found by the Clark County Fire Department day of the fire.

A mother and child who jumped to escape the fire are still recovering at a hospital.

First responders arrived around 4:15 a.m. on Oct. 24 at Langhorne Creek Street. This is near Jones Boulevard and Shelbourne Avenue.

Arriving crews would discover a three-story home with fire coming from the second and third-floor windows. The first crew tried to enter the home, but were pushed out by the heat.

The fire was extinguished at 4:22 a.m. The four were found at 6:03 p.m. The home collapsed.

Clark County Fire confirmed that the house fire did not spread to other homes, but initial 911 callers believed the fire was spreading to two.

“There’s a fire behind me on Hunter Brook Street. The whole house is going down,” said a 911 caller. “Someone is inside screaming.”

“I understand,” dispatch said. “What is on fire?”

“The whole house.”

“We are on our way,” dispatch said. “Keep everyone away from it.”

Another caller told police that their neighbor’s house was on fire and confirmed that the fire was on Langhorne Creek.

“Next door to me, their house is on fire,” another caller said. “We got people in the house and there’s flames.”

“Is this the fire on Hunter Brook Street?” dispatch asked.

“No, this is on Langhorne Creek Street.”

A fifth call to dispatch reported that the fire was spreading to another house.

“I‘m calling for a fire. I don‘t know. We hear someone shouting,” the said. “We don‘t know if they’re okay. You have to hurry.”

A different caller told dispatch they were getting into a car to “rescue anybody.”

“Come on, let’s go in the car, we need to help,” a caller said.

“Don’t go in the house,” dispatch said. “Stay away from it. Units are on their way.”

The fire turned into a second-alarm and additional support was requested. Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, Henderson Fire Department, and Nevada Task Force 1 all responded to the scene.

The first caller from Hunter Brook Street would call fire and medical again.

“Two homes are on fire, and they’re about to blow,” they said.
