LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police say speed and impairment are factors in a crash that left a driver in critical condition.
Police said the crash happened at McLeod Drive and Palma Vista Avenue Friday night around 11:42 p.m.
A 30-year-old man drove a 1997 Dodge Ram southbound on McLeod through East Vegas Valley Drive. Police say the driver lost control and rotated, hitting a block wall.
Medical arrived and transported the driver to Sunrise Hospital where he remains in critical condition. Las Vegas police believe speed and impairment are factors.
“The Dodge’s driver was charged with several criminal violations related to the collision, and he remains in critical condition at Sunrise Hospital,” police said. “The collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section.”
